AMS and AMS 2 - (P1S, H2D, H2C)
Some non-Bambu brands of filament with cardboard or lighter plastic spools may have issues spinning correctly in the Bambu AMS and AMS 2 units. This can happen when a spool is either lightweight or if the smooth edges don't have traction on the rollers.  In these cases, the spool can slip in the AMS or be pulled off of the rollers toward the front of the AMS.

For slipping spools, an adapter can be printed and placed around the edge of the spool to increase grip. Models for adapters to common brands can be found here:

More models can be found and printed for other brands as well:

If the spool is being pulled toward the front of the AMS, first check that the filament is not tangled or overlapped on the spool. This is the most common cause of this issue. If the filament is wound correctly, you may try adding weight to the spool. Many items can be improvised for this use, such as coins or batteries, and printable models to aid in this are available as well:

AMS Lite - (A1 and A1 Mini)
Non-Bambu filaments may not fit correctly on the AMS Lite spool holders due to hub size and spool width differences. In such cases, adapters can be printed that allow the spools to fit snug. Models for common brands can be found here:
